For over two decades UTA Martial Arts has served our community. We are largely a word of mouth organization and most new members will comment that perhaps we are one of the areas "Best Kept Secrets"...  Our members value our family-oriented culture and are proud of the results their children and themselves are receiving from training in our system of self-defense, academic excellence, civic awareness and charitable volunteerism. Notable benefits often cited include improved attitudes, confidence,  and overall mind-body wellness. Classes are offered 6 days per week, and you are welcome to train when you wish - every day if you choose for no added costs. We want our members to succeed so we remove the barriers. 

We offer specialized martial arts programs for children aged 4 and above, teens, and adults. Our programs are designed to inspire students of all ages to set and achieve goals in life not just in the dojo, and our system of rank reinforces the needs to achieve inside the dojo and out! Our classes are "Seriously Fun" while conducted in a disciplined manner consistent with the tradition of martial arts.  Our martial arts system is primarily the Korean art of taekwondo and  incorporates other standing and ground styles as well as traditional weapons. We offer additional training for advanced rank color-belt and black belt students with weapons, Performance and Demonstration teams, and our community-acclaimed Leadership Team. In summary, we teach a well-rounded and disciplined system of martial arts, we focus on all aspects of the students life, and we are not a commercialized MMA school.

Our Instructors are gifted teachers, passionate in their vocation, deeply and diversely trained, and committed to helping you and your child achieve your training goals. They have a great story and I hope you take a few moments to learn about them.

Our program is a family-experience and we want the whole family to enjoy it, so we've designed our HUGE 4,400 square foot dojo to include a large observation area with very comfortable seating for more than 75 guests and room for 100 more in the dojo if you wish to really focus on your child's class and the instructors teachings. We offer free beverages and free wifi and even have accommodations for students who are packing a snack or doing homework. What about training with your child, sure you can do that during our family classes, and it won't break your wallet either -- we offer excellent discounts and added benefits for family memberships.

This does sound different. Indeed. The academy is owned / operated by a family of students - the Saxton's, so the entire program and operation was designed from the ground up with family first and from a parents perspective, right down to no crazy contracts, cancellation, or enrollment fees. Like I said earlier, our goal is your goal and you're coming here to train, not browse a retail store, buy a bottle of water, or practice law understanding complex membership agreements.
